What's on the Shelves?
Our library provides easy access to our collections and catalog. Learn more about our books, articles, media and more, then stop by to pick up your selections and experience all we have to offer. We have everything from early reader books to reference to Christian Inspirational to Western, to name just a few! In addition, we have audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines.
We have lots of new items just for kids, in time for Summer Reading 2021! Come on over and check them out. New items added all summer long!

We’re always adding to our Literary Classics, searching for material we know the community will appreciate. Our team is available to make suggestions and help you find the perfect title from this collection.
We are constantly updating the titles in our New Releases, taking into account recommendations from staff and our community of readers. Explore and discover your next great read from this collection.
We have two socially-distanced public access computers - no library card necessary!
We can fax, copy, or print out from one of the PCs. (Fees below.)
What do you like to read? We have a wide range of Adult, Young Adult, Junior, and Children's titles, both fiction and non-fiction, and a handy Reference Section. Books may be checked out for two weeks.
DVDs are available for free, one-week checkouts, 5 at a time.
Do I have to pay for that?
Books: $.10/day, for every day overdue.
DVDs: $.50/day, for every day overdue.
Scan (Bring your own flash drive) $.50/page
Overdue and Service Fees
You don't have to visit H.A. Peine District Library to access our collections. Many titles, including books, magazines, and other publications are available for download to your computer, eBook reader, or mobile device. Look for Axis 360, Overdrive, or Libby in your app store!
In addition, we participate in Inter-Library Loan services that help augment our collection and resources available to you!
The online catalog, RSACat, can also be found as an app at the Apple App Store and Google Play, so you can have the catalog wherever you go!
Biblioboard is available to all Illinois residents, whether or not they have a library card, and it can be accessed at https://library.biblioboard.com/home. Biblioboard, too, has a mobile app available for Android and Apple products.
